chhath puja importance : चार दिवसीय महापर्व छठ पूजा की शुरुआत इस बार 25 अक्टूबर से शुरू होकर 28 अक्टूबर 2025 तक चलेगी। आपको बता दे, सूर्योपासना का महापर्व छठ पूजा संतान सुख और संतान के दीर्घायु और घर-परिवार में सुख-समृद्धि व खुशहाली के लिए रखा जाता है।
छठ पूजा में कोसी का एक विशेष महत्व है। इस पर्व पर कोसी भरने की परंपरा को बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण माना गया है। कहा जाता है कि, छठ पूजा में श्रद्धा और भक्ति से की गई आराधना से जीवन में सुख, शांति और समृद्धि बनी रहती है। आइए जानते है छठ पूजा में कोसी का क्या महत्व होता है और इससे जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण नियम-

छठ पूजा में कोसी भरने का बड़ा महत्व है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि छठ पर्व में श्रद्धाभाव से की गई पूजा-अर्चना से साधक के जीवन में सुख-समृद्धि बनी रहती है। साथ ही संतान को भी दीर्घ आयु और स्वस्थ जीवन की प्राप्ति होती है।
धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, किसी मनोकामना की पूर्ति या असाध्य रोग से मुक्ति के लिए कोसी भरने का संकल्प लिया जाता है। जब साधक की मनोकामना पूरी हो जाती है तो वह छठ पूजा के दौरान कोसी भरकर छठी मैया का आभार व्यक्त करता है।
जानिए कैसे भरी जाती है कोसी
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, कोसी बनाने के लिए सबसे पहले छठ पूजा की टोकरी को एक स्थान पर रखकर इसे चारों ओर चार या सात गन्ने की मदद से एक छत्र बनाया जाता है।
फिर गन्ने को खड़ा करने से पहले उसके ऊपरी हिस्से पर एक लाल कपड़े में ठेकुआ और फल आदि रखे जाते हैं।
अब इसके अंदर मिट्टी के हाथीको रखा जाता है और उसके ऊपर एक घड़ा रखा जाता है। अब इस हाथी को सिंदूर लगाया जाता है।
फिर इस घड़े में फल और ठेकुआ, सुथनी, मूली और अदरक आदि सामग्री रखी जाती है। इस दौरान कुछ लोग कोसी के अंदर 12 या फिर 24 दीपक भी जलाते हैं।
इसके बाद महिलाएं पारंपरिक छठ के गीत गाती हैं। अंत में कोसी में धूप आदि रखकर हवन किया जाता है और में छठी मैया से मनोकामनाओं की पूर्ति के लिए कामना की जाती है।
