भोपाल : मध्य प्रदेश के भोपाल जिले में पिकनिक मनाने गए तीन लोगों की बांध में डूबने से मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने शुक्रवार को यह जानकारी दी। बिलखिरिया थाने के निरीक्षक वीरेंद्र कुमार सेन ने पीटीआई-भाषा को बताया कि गुरूवार की शाम को सात युवकों का एक समूह जिला मुख्यालय से करीब 20 किलोमीटर दूर बिलखिरिया इलाके में घोड़ा पछाड़ बांध में पिकनिक मना रहा था और उसी दौरान 3 युवकों की बांध में डूबने से मौत हो गई।

उन्होंने बताया कि राज्य आपदा प्रतिक्रिया बल (एसडीआरएफ) ने शुक्रवार सुबह तीनों युवकों के शव को बांध से निकाला। मृत युवकों का नाम अर्जुन मालवीय (20), नितिन नरवड़े (23) और संजय मेहर (26) बताया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि राज्य आपदा प्रतिक्रिया बल (एसडीआरएफ) ने शुक्रवार सुबह अर्जुन मालवीय का शव बांध से निकाला और भोपाल नगर निगम के गोताखोरों ने गुरूवार देर रात नितिन नरवड़े और संजय मेहर के शव को बांध से बाहर निकाला।
पुलिस के अनुसार, मालवीय शाम करीब छह बजे बांध में उतरे और उन्हें डूबता देख अन्य दो लोग उन्हें बचाने के लिए पानी में कूद पड़े। सेन ने बताया कि ये सभी लोग तैरना नहीं जानते थे और जिस स्थान पर वे डूबे, उसकी गहराई 15 फुट थी। उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस ने समूह के अन्य लोगों के बयान लेने के बाद मामला दर्ज कर लिया है।
